Now that you have been chatting to your Filipina for a while and getting to know each other it is time to travel to the Philippines and meet her.

You should be the one to book the accommodation. You can stay in a hotel for at least one night and see how you get along before deciding if you want to stay in her home for the rest of your stay in the Philippines.
You will be expected to meet her family and close friends. You will most likely be paying for everything during your visit so consider when they suggest an activity that you need to budget for everybody going. The good thing about philippine culture is many people will be happy to prepare the food to take on an outing for the day.
The most popular way to pay for things in the Philippines is by using cash. Major shopping malls take credit cards but cash is the dominant way to pay for many things in the Philippines so make sure you can make international cash withdrawals using an ATM with your bank debit card. You should also find out what international withdraw fees are involved before you go so you can budget for that.
When things are happening that you don't understand, always ask your Filipina to explain to you what is happening. She will be happy to tell you, but she may not understand that you have not done this activity before unless you tell her.
Transport in the Philippines is getting easier. A popular way to get around major city areas is using Grab. the Grab app works well, and you can usually get a ride quickly. You can also pay for Grab rides online if that makes you more comfortable than using cash. You can also use traditional transport such as motorbikes and multi-cab transports.
Maks sure you allocate some time for romance as well as sightseeing. There is a lot to see in the Philippines and some beautiful places to visit. I suggest the first place to visit is the home island of your Filipina so you can understand her better.
